Open Air Kitchen

Last weekend, Andy and I went to clean up the yard a little bit.  We threw away three rusted box springs down to the metal, a mattress, another box spring, two tires, and various clothes, trash, and beer bottles.  There was another rusted metal box spring in the yard, but a tree had grown around it.  We noticed later in the weekend that someone found the metal box springs in the dumpster and took them for scrap metal money.  At least they are getting recycled!  We also cleaned up some of the plants in the front.  Our goal is to get rid of all the shrubbery and plant herbs/flowers in their place.  Another change this week has been the demolition of the kitchen.  We now have a very expensive hole in the house.  We will have a new style of roof on the back once it is completed.

Wait! You’re not going to cut down that gorgeous old crape myrtle, are you? And was that a total of FIVE box springs? A regular hostel you bought, right? I can barely wait to see it! I wish I could have been there to help in the yard!!

    1. No! Only the hedges in the front! And we have plenty of work left to do. We can save you some!
