After several days of hiking around the wilderness of northern California we drove over to Big Sur to enjoy the famous the scenery. Big Sur lived up the hype but felt a bit overcrowded when driving down route 1, granted we were visiting just after July 4th. Some of the highlights of our day at Big Sur were the hidden Pfeiffer Beach with its tiny beach and beautiful sea arches, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park with its breathtaking fresh water stream dropping some 80 feet onto the beach below, and the iconic Bixby Bridge. It would be nice to revisit Big Sur and enjoy the impressive views during the offseason.

I gotta take note about this place th next time I go up North. I was just there two weeks ago. California 1 is NOT at all always crowded.
Awesome, awesome iages btw.
