Blue and Cream

In actuality the white is alabaster but Raekwon never talked about alabaster Wallabies.  That last line probably missed the intended audience for this blog by a longshot and is the reason Kate should be responsible for these postings.

The house is painted!  We now have a blue house, and a blue porch, and blue cement steps, and a blue cinder block foundation under the porch, and a blue…  Someone got a little carried away with the blue, we are going to have to go back and have some different color put on the porch in order to give the house some more definition.  Other than that it is exciting to see the house starting to look like a home.

Our contractor is supposed to start sheetrocking and plastering up the interior walls this week but we will see if that happens on schedule.  If anyone is looking for a good contractor please let us know who you find, we are looking for one as well, kidding.  We like the work our guy has been doing but the lack of communication is getting rather frustrating, 10 weeks to go…

We have also recently built a nice shed with the help of the Pitts family. Kate’s father Bob, brother Robbie, and Uncle Jim, as well as her coworker Matt helped us put something together to store all of our tools toys out back.  Without these guys we would probably still be trying to figure out which side was up on the plans.  Two weeks later the shed is still standing, dry inside, and has not been broken into!  One project down.  Unfortunately it looks like the shed pics out out of town with Kate, next post.

The house looks great, so far. I really do like the color. Make your mother bring her work gloves for yard work. Hey have Wayne and Heidi over also then you could have a yard raising party. Or a Watch My Brush- No really it looks great good luck with everything.
