With the help of Andy’s wonderful friend, we have cast our countertops. We spent Saturday creating the mold creating the mold out of some pine trim, 4X8 pieces of MDF coated with melamine, and various pieces of trash to form the mold. Sunday we spent perfecting the mold, measuring several times, then pouring the concrete. Andy went out of town, so Andy’s friend was stuck with mixing the concrete. We are very appreciative of him! They are now curing outside, two in the shed and one outside. Hopefully on Wednesday they will be ready to take out of the mold and sand and by Thursday we can install them. It’s going to be interesting to see how they turn out.
They have also been making more changes inside, adding all the bathroom fixtures and lights throughout the house. I am still excited to see the master bathroom the blue color it is supposed to be! We are on the homestretch now. Two weeks! Two weeks!

Oh, my goodness! Cabinets! Bathtubs! Lights! Paint! TOILETS! I can’t believe it’s the same place I saw 6 months ago! I can barely wait to see it again! Won’t be long now for sure. I see boxes in our future!!
